MINERVA MARINE Inc. aims to ensure security for personnel, vessels and property.

To achieve this goal, we are committed to:

  • Assessing the security risks related to our activities, both onboard and ashore, and establishing, implementing and maintaining robust safeguards and security measures to prevent and/or deter unlawful acts and criminal activities.
  • Implementing and continuously improving a Ship Security Plan, in compliance with the ISPS Code and industry best management practices.
  • Being prepared to respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Meeting or exceeding all applicable security-related regulatory and industry requirements and regularly assessing our compliance level aiming at continual improvement.
  • Enhancing the security skills and awareness of our personnel onboard and ashore by providing training and maintaining a global maritime security situation awareness.
  • Ensuring that the Company Security Officer and the Master/Ship Security Officer are given the necessary support to fulfil their duties and responsibilities in accordance with Chapter XI-2 of the SOLAS Convention.
